LS Tractor Won't Start After Hooking Up Bush Hog

I've had something similar where my LS seemingly spontaneously would not start. Turns out I had bumped one of the levers for selecting which PTO is on (not the nob for engaging the PTO, I'm talking about the levers for selecting whether the mid PTO and/or rear PTO are engaged). Making sure both...

Who still drives a stick in 2025?

I daily drive a manual 2023 Tacoma. There sure aren't many options these days when looking for a manual truck.

    DigMaster DM200 Excv.

Based purely on pictures, it looks mighty similar to the Rippa R328, although that one has a Yanmar engine. There's a link for the "Manual" on that site but it looks like a brochure, not a manual. Maybe if you contact them they would have a manual (hopefully in English) for you?

LS MT225S problems - is this normal?

I think it might be possible, but probably more difficult. There's a bit of a gap between the seat and the fender where you can get to the top of it, but there are plenty of obstacles in the area. When the dealer replaced my loader valve, they said it only took 20-30 minutes to swap it out. I...

LS MT225S problems - is this normal?

I'm trying to plan ahead for replacing the rear front-axle pivot bracket. The front driveshaft will need to go through the bracket. I'm thinking the easiest approach will be to disconnect the steering hydraulic lines from the front axle, disconnect the front axle bracket, scoot the front axle...

Linux experts and users, input requested

I don't game a lot, but I have used Steam on Linux for years. Some games support Linux directly, while others that technically only work on Windows will often still work via Steam's Proton (compatibility layer). For example, my sister got me to try Baldur's Gate 3, and even though it is only...

Linux experts and users, input requested

I use some form of Linux on all my home machines; Ubuntu would be a great choice for something beginner-friendly and that generally Just Works. Since it's based on Debian, even proprietary printer/scanner drivers tend to be available for it (*.deb packages).

LS MT225S problems - is this normal?

That's exactly where mine was leaking. Started taking the leaky valve apart and found the magic o-ring. You can see it sticking out: Now I just need to figure out what size it is.

Here's the old one from my tractor:

LS MT225S problems - is this normal?

Thanks, sounds like this isn't terribly abnormal. Maybe just some unfortunate timing. The frustrating part is how long it has been taking to get parts, but hopefully that will improve. That's helpful info - the warranty definitely would not cover the axle mount bracket.

LS MT225S problems - is this normal?

I've had my LS MT225S for 2.5 years, and it has been a great little tractor. Well, until this summer. In July, the loader valve started leaking whenever the lift cylinders were pressurized (so any time the tractor was running, because one must lift the loader to go anywhere). While waiting for...

    Decent scratch resistant safety/sunglasses?

I wear prescription glasses and have found HexArmor LT250 safety glasses fit very well over them.
