What I need is someone here to help me with the correct way to set gear backlash in the front axel case. I found a very worn lower bevel gear in the bottom of the gearcase on the rt. side while I was replacing the seal. I ended up taking the whole case completely apart for cleaning and to check...
L2550 Won\'t Turn Off w/key . . .
Suddenly my L2550 no longer turns off w/the key. (I can still stop the engine by pulling the "Emergency Stop" control though). There is also no "click" when the key is turned to "on" prior to starting also. This tractor is now 18yrs old.
I have checked fuses...
