    Hydraulic Motor off Rear Remotes

That motor appears to have a case drain. They have apparently from what I see plumbed it into the return line and drastically over sized the return line at the 90 degree fitting. If that oversized return line went straight to sump and therefore pressures were low it would work. It would have to...

    Hydraulic Motor off Rear Remotes

That small of motor is unlikely to have a separate case drain. I would always recommend a cross over relief valve like I linked above. What is your desired rpm and diameter of rotor/string?

    Hydraulic Motor off Rear Remotes

Depends on the motor and it’s function. A lot of larger motors have a case drain. Most high flow equipped skid steers have a third connection for the case drain and if you don’t use it it will quickly blow the seals out. Small motors usually don’t have a case drain If the motor has a high...

    Zero Turn Mower Problems

My guess is the bad idler pulley allowed the belt to damage the wires into the clutch. 90 percent of bad electric PTO clutches I have seen have been from another issue or the belt itself braking and hitting the clutches wires.

    Hydro fun…. NOT!

Why not just plumb in a tee with a ball valve to relieve pressure to the other side? Then no tools are needed at all?

Pulled over for a one-ton truck pulling a water pump in CT.

No one is talking half tons they simply don’t have a gvwr of more than 10,001lbs. Most 3/4 have a 10,000 or under GVWR as well on purpose. Typically only if you order the heavy duty tow package is it over 10,001 lbs. DOT cops are not all ignorant of what a truck is or that commerce is taking...

Pulled over for a one-ton truck pulling a water pump in CT.

There is no distinction with the type of bed to the federal DOT regulations. It is entirely based on weight and if your participating in interstate commerce, ie any activity for profit across state lines. It also matters not if your a carrier (people pay you to haul their freight) or if you...

Pulled over for a one-ton truck pulling a water pump in CT.

Peter315 has it correct. You are commercial, participating in interstate commerce, and over 10,000 you need a FE, triangles, a medical card and a dot number.

With that much gasoline a good way to burn yourself as well like my neighbor did when the vapor ignited . .

    Diesel mixed with gas

Diesel has a low octane rating. Some 50’s tractors ran distillate fuel or tractor fuel with an octane of 35-45. They would start on gasoline and get good and hot and switch over to the distillate. Many times the carb had additional heat from the exhaust manifold to help vaporize it. These...

    Diesel mixed with gas

If it’s an early 70’s with pre smog heads I think it would be just fine. Smog heads were pretty bad about detonation I doubt 1 gallon mixed with 300 would hurt a thing but????
