Referencing the attached, the problem would have to be in the red wire going from the regulator to the starter/battery. But, does the charge go through the ignition switch or straight to the starter???

I noticed that the drivers side wheel bearing has some Play in it. If I grab the top of the wheel and push/pull there is a bit of play in the hub. Should I leave it or look to replace the bearing. Also, the oil is very black and the transmission fluid looked new. I think the owner replaced...
