On our acreage we hire out.............but we have lots of gophers. Older gentleman known locally as the Gopher Man comes out and traps them. Shows up early in a pickup with a small golf cart...........drives around placin' traps. My kids ride with him and chat his ear off. Comes back out later...

So we know manual chutes on snowblowers suck. A few years back when I bought my blower, a gently used Lorenz 7' blower, I knew hand crankin' the chute was not going to be an option. Lorenz does offer a power chute add-on, but I know I can do better than a silly hydraulic cylinder and some cable...
Never really use the tractor at night/early AM much. But when I need the yard cleared bright and early because a truck is coming in, I need to see where I'm goin'.
