I noticed online that there are different versions of my deck pulleys...any reason why they got rid of the the 1 version with both pulleys on the same arm and got rid of the grease fittings on the spindles...I bought mine on Apr 30 2006...this version I have has the tensioner on a separate arm...

The deck may be banged up abit..the paint scratched a hair..but this LT1042 runs like a bear still after 48hrs of usel!! Only neg comment i can think of is that i broke 2 belts this season so far... Solution was to properly adjust the deck..way off..adjuster screw was never properly tightened...

borrowed a 17cu. tow behind wagon to clear rocks..filled it with roughly 700lbs. and pulled it all around my yard with little hills and dips...never broke a sweat....ran it full like this for around 20-30 mins and afterwards i felt the tranny..was warm but not hot like i expected....bought this...

when to change \"break in\" oil? heard i need to change this oil around 5 hrs run time..sound about right or should i do sooner?thanks

is this a decent motor?im thinking about bringing it back to get the 20hp Kohler v-twin...any comments,good or bad.. about this motor will be appreciated ..thanks
