This may be a dumb question...but has any magazine, or internet site done any tractor comparisons/shoot-outs ? They have them for cars, trucks, boats, 4-wheelers, motorcycles, etc. I'm curious about the differences in...lets say... a mid power (30-50 hp) John deere, New Holland, Kubota, BobCat...

2005 TC33DA....190 hrs. I wash the tractor 2 days ago (basic wash with garden hose, nothing major)...go to mow today, and the flashers are on. Turn the key off, then start it again, and they turn back on in about 15 seconds. Flasher switch is off..tried rocking it a bunch off times. At least...

I think I've read somewhere that some people have cut off a portion of the rear of the deck to get the grass out quicker. Maybe like 1 1/2" off the back lower most lip ? I wanna know if this is worth doing..what the results were..and if you were happy with it. Sounds like it might work better...
