Tried the impact. That’s as tight as the impact will get it. No can’t pull it off by hand. You think it could be tapered that much? Thanks

Tried it with the nut. That’s as far as I can get it to go. Angle of the phone I guess makes it appear lower in the front.

Just replaced the steering gear box on a yanmar ym 2200. The difference is when trying to put the pitman arm back on. Can’t seem to seat it down on the splines as far as the old original one that I took off. Is the shaft on the new one tapered? Bought it from hoye tractors. Guy couldn’t help...

On the oil bath filter, is there just the bottom cap that comes off? Or does the screen come out also? If so how does it come out unscrew or just pull down? Any help would be appreciated.
