Mine is a Farmtrac 60 ford clone. I have replaced the starter, a radiator hose and freed up a stuck injection pump. The starter was a direct replacement bought on ebay, shortened a new radiator hose to fit and got info on here to free up the stuck injector pump.
So, it wasn't the preheater at all. What was wrong was a bad starter and bad battery cables. I purchased a new starter and fabricated new cables. Works fine now. Starts first time every time.
Great news. Also with the pumpguysc help I got mine working again a couple of years and about 500 hours ago. Still running and approaching the 1000 hour mark.

I don't believe my fuel preheater is working. I have about 850 hours on my tractor. I don't feel any warmth at the manifold preheater. I could not find a part number for the preheater. Troubleshooting recommendations are appreciated. The tractor is primarily used to skid logs to my sawmill.

Above is data I've collected on my website. So far it looks like Farmtrac 60's are concentrated on the east coast of the US. It is interesting to see where this escorts model or maybe even old Ford 3620's are located throughout the world.
