    Bale Fork for Moving Pallet?

I don’t imagine what your spear attaches to is rated for 8k. But if all you own is a WM 120 I would say it lifts more…

What do you drive for a truck?

All my vehicles have enough power. So getting more power out of my 392/6.7/5.9 is not important to me at all. What I want is something easy to maintain myself at my own shop.

Pulled over for a one-ton truck pulling a water pump in CT.

These threads get off the point quickly. CDL rules come from a weight rating not what the load weighs. So again doesn’t matter if you are hauling absolutely nothing for no money or getting paid to haul a load. It all comes down to whether you get pulled over by a LEO. Or in other words...

Pulled over for a one-ton truck pulling a water pump in CT.

Agreed, And hauling for money or not makes no difference. Because you can get a ticket hauling nothing if you are over 26k rated…

What do you drive for a truck?

I have 2 Zf‘s behind hemis. A hp70 in a 5.7 and a hp75 in a 6.4. They work well. 91k on the hp70. Lifetime lube is BS, and the swap is costly. But overall better than the rFe trannies. I have a 68rFE in my 2016 6.7. So far so good. I didn’t go asin since it was the 1st or 2nd year...

What do you drive for a truck?

Everybody has an opinion on trucks. My crappy dodge 5.9 truck from 2000 has 350k miles. Original seats etc, looks brand new and everything still works. Replaced the radio so I could have hands free, but still have the original Cd/tape head unit to put back if I want to.

Pulled over for a one-ton truck pulling a water pump in CT.

I agree with misinformation. Because CDL requirements have to do with ratings. They have nothing to do with what you are hauling. So if you are hauling a single hay bail to feed to your rabbit or if you are hauling a billboard that advertises what company you are commercially hauling for...

Stolen Tractor - New Holland TC 45

People steal stuff everywhere these days. Quick story. Saw foot prints on my driveway that I knew were not mine. Someone tried to steal my truck. But it was locked. The thief Went Down the road until they found an 18 month old truck with the keys in it and stole it. Now my neighbors say...

    Oil Change intervals?

Again, gone are the days where anything about an oil change is ”cheap”. Oil change on my 20 YO Kubota is about $40 and 20 minutes. My tier 4 CNH is about $400-$600 (on-line vs dealer part costs) and 6-8 hours if you are good at it.

    Question about greasing bearings

This is one area I go against my normal over do it mentality. Disassembling and greasing is a huge pain. I have way more important maintenance items that I cannot ignore. So my approach is replace when worn and leave them alone. Your mileage may vary(YMMV).

    Yet another diesel question

There will be a lot of pissed off people if the red diesel was in the regular pump.

Pulled over for a one-ton truck pulling a water pump in CT.

I have found that threads like this go nowhere. Many are certain that rules don’t apply to non commercial drivers. As long as you have not done anything over rating or unsafe you are good. Well not gonna weigh in at all because I have been wrong in the past. But I will say I completely...

What do you drive for a truck?

The low GVWR is from being 4 link spring rear suspension. I would not buy a pick up truck for hauling or towing, that wasn’t leaf spring. They are not supposed to ride nice unloaded…
