I have a small leak on my JD 4600 front axle, where the main casting bolts to the first 90° bend. It seems an oil leak right at the swivel part of the "kingpin" on the 4x00's is pretty common, but I haven't been able to find much on this location. Looking at JD Parts it appears there isn't any...

I bought the 60" root grapple and been loving it. Glad I didn't bother getting a wider unit. I really don't think there would be any benefit on my tractor.

Got everything buttoned up tonight. Had to rebend a couple of the hardlines to fit the valve placement. Really happy how the line routing turned out and how the valve is tucked in close to the tractor. I'll need to practice a bit to get a full grab.

Got to work a little on installing the diverter circuit. Cut up some angle iron to make a bulkhead for quick connects at the end of the loader. Drilled a hole to mount a button in the handle and carefully drilled a small hole to route wires through. Hopefully get around to mounting the valve...

Ordered the 60" root grapple from MTL attachments last week for my JD4600. It should be delivered today. Bill of lading shows 490lbs. I'll be adding a diverter valve to get the 3rd function on the loader too. I'll throw some pictures up later for others that may be interested. I'll put up...
