The hood on my YM2000 has been sitting on the fuel line that attaches to the top of the fuel tank. 6 years of vibrating has worn a hole in the line. Does anyone know what size line? I would like to pick up a replacement on my way home this afternoon. Thanks for the help.
Well it happened and I am just sick. The front axle on my YM2000 is cracked and bent. Have any of you had success straightening a axle and welding reinforcing plates.
Anyone ever use a 1972 Datsun 510 alt. as a replacement. I can see light in my alt. like a burned up wire. I used a 510 volt. reg. and it worked great and fit perfect.

Have any of you ever heard of a leak at the bell where you split the tractor. I've notice a small trace of oil around the bell. It follows the line around the bell and drips at the bottom. The oil level before and after use is good. Not really sure what is happening.
Finally found the time to put on the 1972 Datsun 510 voltage regulator. Same plug and bolted right up to the frame. WORKS GREAT!!! Checked with a meter and it puts out 14.5v at the battery. Found a new one for $10.00 bucks including shipping (ebay). The old regulator was open to the...

Checked the batt. w/ a new digital multi-meter and the batt. check 12.8-13.0 dc. Started the tractor and checked at 1800 rpms and it read 16.0 dc. Is this ok or is the volt. regulator not working? Thought it should read around 14.0 but not really sure.

When the key is turned on, the oil light will come on, but I have to bump the dash to get the charge light to come on. It worked fine until the belt came loose and I had to re-tighten. Everything seems to be charging fine. Checked w/ volt meter. I've wiggled the wires... to locate the short...
