    Not at all. Thank you for looking. I took off the small extra weld so it fits between the ears of my orange bucket, I am making ears for the ripper and the black bucket. It will work, just not yet.

    I read somewhere that it is better to have overbite for the thumb, I went with flat jaws not curved, one is cut out but having issues with my cutter, also got distracted making a frost ripper

    I am making a thumb for my KX41-2. Are the thumb arms supposed to land on the teeth of the bucket or on the cutting edge of the bucket? Does it not matter? On my backhoe it worked out easier to land on the bucket, on this one I can play with bushings to land either place. Shown is my plywood...

    Removing a hydraulic cylinder from jd 710 BH

    I've got a 70's JD 510 with the factory option of a 710 backhoe on the back. How do I get the main lift hydraulic cylinder out of the backhoe arm? There doesn't seem to be enough room to remove it. As I fix leaks, other things start leaking. I will post a picture tommorrow. Thanks Kevin
