Mine is an LB400, so sizes might be different than an LB702. The boom cylinders have slightly larger nuts than the bucket cylinders. I'm on OTT also, and started a thread but got side tracked. I broke the nuts loose before taking anything loose so I wasn't fighting them on the bench or floor...
If you're mechanically inclined and can halfway pay attention to detail, it's not that complicated. Messy? You betcha. There are some tips and tricks - if you decide to make a go at it be sure to ask before you fubar something.
I知 replacing the big oil seal on top of the front axle case of my 1995 L2500DT. The instruction sheet with the seal says fits serial numbers ~ 61008. My serial number is - 54870.

Here is the parts break down. It shows #170 which is called out as a "Spring Holder" and #90 "Stop Lever Shaft" is drilled for a spring. But I find no other drawing with an actual spring shown anywhere? :o
Can someone point me in the right direction of where this spring is supposed to hook on an L2500DT? It looks like someone stretched it and randomly hooked it. I cannot find it anywhere on the parts diagrams.
