seems like the belts are slipping/squealing a little too easily. put an 8 HP Honda on a 71 horse!. belts are new. can the distance between the upper and lower pulleys be increased? thanks
in the manual for my 71 horse 1 it says to remove the bolt and washer and the reverse disc comes for replacement of disc or belts. really? my reverse disc looks like its welded/rusted to the pulleys. no bolts etc to remove. suggestions?
I can loosen the two bolts on the right side that hold the hh60 to the trans. but the two on the left side are blocked by the pulleys. the obvious thing is to remove the pully but I can't get it to stop turning so I can remove the center bolt in IT. and if I do get the pulley loose will it go...
