Scaffire is an old, fairly heavy built 9 shank. Massey Fergusson, I think. Looks like my smaller 5 shank Massey w/ a tag. 2 coil springs are missing on the unit.

Is there any appreciable difference? Of course, dealers that sell 6 blades say so. Some of the better brands, Landpride, Bush Hog, Howse, still sell 4 lades tillers, so they can't be that bad? I will buy a 6 foot tiller for plowing about 3/4 acre garden and 2 acres of food plots twice a...
