John Deere 400CX Loader cylinder failed - looking for suggestions

Thanks all - some great ideas. What I have done is install caps on the line that feed the failed Hydraulic Cylinder for now. There is a risk of damaging the loader I suspect, so what I am doing is making sure the bale spear is properly positioned so I don't need to use the roll function other...

John Deere 400CX Loader cylinder failed - looking for suggestions

I had the curl cylinder stop working when moving snow Christmas eve. (Why of course - perfect timing and no way to get parts) The curl cylinders would not rotate up and of course - I believe it was around -1 degrees to boot AND I need this loader to feed 50 head of cattle. So - I get it back to...

    Debit vs. Credit Cards

In my opinion - Debit cards are used to access cash and cash only. There is zero benefit to purchasing anything with a debit card - it exposes the buyer to too much risk.

John Deere 4720 Blower motor Resistor pack .75+.75- 216/22

Yea, I am thinking it may be due to the being mounted right on the motor. Not sure I like that design as the two main things that kill electrical devices is heat and vibration. I am hoping someone has at least tried doing something similar and might have some insight.

John Deere 4720 Blower motor Resistor pack .75+.75- 216/22

It is a 20 amp fuse feeding the Blower motor switch - Digikey has 10 amp DC thermal fuses. I am going to make an assumption that 216 part of the number is the temperature range but am not sure what the /22 part is detailing 216/22. Thinking my first option would be: USW-128T Thermal Cutoff...

John Deere 4720 Blower motor Resistor pack .75+.75- 216/22

Replacing the thermal fuse would be quite easy - Digikey has thermal fuses - Now to figure out how to determine the correct thermal fuse

John Deere 4720 Blower motor Resistor pack .75+.75- 216/22

Found that the Blower motor Resistor pack .75+.75- 216/22 on my John Deere 4720 I use for moving round bales and feeding is bad. Trying to locate this part in the USA. Both of mine are bad and JD wants me to replace the entire blower motor when all that is needed is this resistor pack. I found...

John Deere MFWD 2355 Cab - Blown fuse issue

Good Day All, I am having an issue where the 20 amp fuse that sends power to the key switch blows intermittently. When it does blow, the tractor keeps running, lights still work, etc. The instrument cluster stops working and when the tractor is shut off, the key switch no longer supplies...

Loader  What loader should I consider for a 4x4 Cab equipped John Deere 2355

Looking for advice on which loader I should consider adding to a John Deere 2355 MFWD Cab tractor. Loader will be used for light bucket chores, handling round bales with bale spear, and move 4x4 hay-ledge with a bale squeeze. I'd like to know which loaders would work as well as which loader...

    Kubota L3830 Headlight

While using the 3830 to bring in firewood, I had a sapling take out the head lamp and bend some of the area up a bit. I believe I'll be able to straighten the damaged area to near new looking, but I will need to replace the headlamp assembly. Is OEM the only option or the best option? Where...
