connecting front loader with quick hitch when you cannot see the equipment

I guess you say that because you haven't been in any of the late model M5 or M6 Kubota's with a super tall and wide hood. You can't see the SSQA at all. I added a front camera which helps with the SSQA but also forking pallets.

    M5 steering noise vibration

Yes, My M5-111 and my M-7040 are hydrostatic steering and I understand they aren't hydro-assisted with a direct linkage so slippage is expected, I just notice that my M5 whines and "slips" much more than my 7040 ever did. I notice all the hydraulics on the M5 has more leakage (internally)...

    M5 steering noise vibration

My 2022 M5-111 does this, it has 150 hours or so on it. Like when running the brush hog with engine at 2000 RPM (or 540 PTO speed not in E540 mode), moving slow the steering whines and buzzes like an car low of power steering fluid. I also see some steering drift - steering wheel requires more...

    M7040 sudden fuel line separation

Those little "check valves" have short, smooth, tapered fittings. I fought this and thought I won but then eventually you find all your $$$ diesel is going on the ground. To fix it, I used new Kubota fuel line, and spring clamps like Briggs and Stratton uses. It was too small for true hose...

Can't get a Kubota M5-111 so, what now?

Well, I totally hijacked the OP's thread. Apologies... It's a premium price but I sure wouldn't call it a premium tractor or a economy version either. It's somewhere in between , like maybe between a JD series 5E and a 5M. There's a lot of good stuff going on, and also some stuff that makes...

Can't get a Kubota M5-111 so, what now?

I have a rivet nut tool. I meant the little plastic pop in rivets holding the interior together. My cab interior on the M7040 held up fine so hopefully it does on the M5. My SxS and 4 wheeler is all held together with plastic rivet nuts and they've actually held up pretty good so that...

Can't get a Kubota M5-111 so, what now?

Mine was rescheduled for June 22. then in July they rescheduled for 2-2023. I raised cain and the dealership finally found one that was 8 days old and I got it early July. Yippie, I think I like it so far but fit and finish isn't near as good as my M7040 was. Cheap thin plastic, rivet nuts...

Can't get a Kubota M5-111 so, what now?

I see that yours came in by your signature. I ordered my M5-111 Cab tractor on 9-9-21 and still waiting. They blown past 2 delivery dates Jan 22, and Jun 22. Very little information being provided. Now, I did order mine with the 24 speed so that may be an issue. I see 8 speeds coming in...

6 months waiting and still no eta or build date....

Can't get a Kubota M5-111 so, what now?

I forgot to add, I sure don't know what options you got on yours but mine was under $67k with 24 speed tranny, loader, and 3rd function, then minus $5k for cash deal and was a tad less than 62K out the door. This was only a week or two before you quoted yours. Mine will not have self leveling...

Can't get a Kubota M5-111 so, what now?

Most/many suppliers are adding a surcharge to their products to cover the extreme volatility of the materials right now. It's easier for them to do this as a temporary adder too adjust the pricing without affecting their product price. I bought some custom made copper air coils and the pricing...

Can't get a Kubota M5-111 so, what now?

I did a new custom order a M5-111 24 speed, Cab and Loader on Sept. 9th, of 2021 and the expected delivery is Feb. 2022 although they still haven't provided a build date or better estimated date. So we'll see, I still have my M7040 to get me by but I'm really needing the extra ponies especially...

    M5-111 Clutch operation

No, it's a 18" chain saw driven from a 12 hp hyd. motor. It's on a 8-10' extension made from 2-1/2" square tubing. Chain saw on a long pole. You can google Limbhog and there are a couple of others that are almost exact copies. It's good for trimming trees by yourself. A man basket and a pole...

    M5-111 Clutch operation

Limbhog running from a rear remote with hoses running to front. 12 hp with reverse if you jam it. Absolutely love it.

    M5-111 Clutch operation

Thanks for the response. Yes it was cold oil when I tried it. I use a front mounted hydraulic limb cutter and my 7040 allows me to move very slowly into position, but by the end of the day my left knee doesn't work anymore (getting some miles on myself). After test driving that M5, I...
