    Lightest Weight SSQA Forks

I’m looking for a set of forks for my BX2380. Due to me getting the SSQA that already cuts the lift capacity, I’d like to find the lightest forks. Ai2 has the lightest I have found (167#), but they are backlogged for some time. I just thought I’d check to see how other fork companies are doing...

Buying Advice Anybody buy/install or review an atvcabs cab for a BX? (2370/2380)

Well, I bought the Original Cab with the glass windshield and electric wiper, and rear view mirrors. It was here in two days. WOW! Great customer service. I’m anxious to put it on, but still have leaf bagging this year, so I’m going to try and hold off putting it on until later in October. I...

Buying Advice Anybody buy/install or review an atvcabs cab for a BX? (2370/2380)

Thanks, atitus74. Have you found the manual wiper sufficient? I’ve often thought the electric to be a perk I’ll pay for, but rarely use. However, I face west, nothing around, and expect the blowing snow melting on the windshield to be a pain and requiring me to flip wiper on/off to avoid...

Buying Advice Anybody buy/install or review an atvcabs cab for a BX? (2370/2380)

Thanks for the recommendation. The Sims Yukon for the 70-Series is $4,500 with soft doors. Not much savings over the base ATV, which is removed in minutes. Sims doesn’t show an 80-Series yet. I’ll have to contact them.

Buying Advice Anybody buy/install or review an atvcabs cab for a BX? (2370/2380)

So I bought a BX2380 without the cab. I love the ease of on/off with the ATVcabs brand, but frankly, the mid to top if the line Curtis or factory Curtis are worth ALOT more for the minimum cost over the ATV. Add wiper, sliding glass, and heater, and the ATV is about $8k. The best factory Curtis...

    New BX2380 Owner

This is not correct. The MMM lifts independent of the rear 3pt LOWER links. I have my 3pt locked out with the rear Bagger, and raise and lower the MMM all day long. The key is the UPPER lift arms for the 3pt , which exert the force to lift the lower links, need to move free. Just clarifying...

    Hydrostatic quirk or total nonsense?

You might check this weight. EA offers no pallet fork setup at 100#. The forks themselves, maybe, but add the frame, and 240# is the lightest setup they offer. In fact, 220# by another brand is possible, and #165 the lighted I’ve found for my SSQA on my BX2380.

    Hydrostatic quirk or total nonsense?

Clearly the Handyman operator is ignorant. The BX is a single hydraulic pump, which only develops power through RPM. The loader we’ll stall every time if the RPM is not up. The B-Series is a dual pump, and is not affected as nearly. You can idle the B and make the bucket lift and curl. On the...

    Loader  BX80-Series Loader

Anyone find real world limitations on the BX 80 Series with the SSQA reducing the capacity over the prior generation? I can’t believe this is a real issue with snow, dirt, mulch, etc. based upon the coordinated bucket size. Just curious. I have a BX2670 and it seems to lift quite a bit more than...

Mowing Fed Up w/ BX Drive-Over Deck. Making a Change.

Well, I got a ZT, and it fits in the barn pretty well. After mowing with the ZT for a few weeks now, I’m going to dump my BX2670 with all the attachments, and just go with a B with a loader and rear blade for snow removal. I’ll pick up a used cyclone rake for leaves, hang it on the wall, and...

Bought a Simplicity Citation XT Today

I was set on buying a Kubota Z422 with the 54” deck, but really liked the serviceable items on the Simplicity sitting beside it. Well, long story short, I went to drive both the Z422 and a Simplicity to lay to rest my concerns about which would be better on my bumpy yard. There, arriving just...

Mowing Fed Up w/ BX Drive-Over Deck. Making a Change.

After digging into this more, the ZT will give me the versatility to dump my BX any time before or after winter. I will have a mower with the ZT. I can’t believe I’ll have any reasonable luck selling the MMM and Bagger alone, unless I give it away. I’m thinking I could do better selling the BX...

Mowing Fed Up w/ BX Drive-Over Deck. Making a Change.

I’ve looked at so many options. I think I may buy the ZT first, then consider selling the BX with all the implements I have and buying a B2601 with the loader. I primarily mow 98% of the time, and remove snow in the winter. That’s now. It’s a pain to put the loader on the BX to use the bucket or...

Mowing Fed Up w/ BX Drive-Over Deck. Making a Change.

I live in northern Illinois. There are no other options for me besides a tractor for snow removal, so I really need to keep the BX. The wife is more worried about storage of the Z than what it’s used for. I think if I get the Z, I’ll use my tractor more, because I’ll leave the loader on it and...
