    Yard Raking Attachments

I have the same thing. The long tines are too springy, and once loaded, the tines roll over the collected debris and drag it across the yard. As I mentioned above, I’m thinking about bolting on a crossbrace to stiffen them up and try that. The dethatcher from Good Tractors looks good, but I...

    Yard Raking Attachments

I really appreciate all the feedback. Somehow, this halfway morphed into a leaf issue. It’s not. It’s sticks. I have a bagger for my BX. It does nothing for sticks. I also have an estate rake. Clogs up with sticks. I’m not sure some of you know what type or amount of branches and twigs a...

    BX vs ZD for mowing

Late to the party, but I have a BX2380, and a Simplicity Citation XT zero turn. I bought the ZT used with 75 hours after frustration with Kubota’s stupid drive over deck option on my BX2670. I was working a deal on on a new BX2380 with a non-drive over deck or a Kubota zero, when the...

    Yard Raking Attachments

Oh yeah! Sweep-All. NOT! At least not for $13,000. Looks very effective, though.

    Yard Raking Attachments

Let me know your results. I’m thinking I will need to build something. Landscape rakes seem like they might be too harsh. I’m considering stiffening the tines on my pine needle rake by adding a horizontal by crossbrace across the complete set of tines, about six inches above grade. This...

    Yard Raking Attachments

Anybody have a GOOD way to rake their yard with some sort of attachment or yard tool outside of a good old-fashioned hand rake? I have over one and 2/3 acres of yard with many maples and Sycamore trees that lose branches and twigs like leaves. Every time there is wind, I am out there raking by...

Since the Zero, the Tractor Sits

Lots of great replies. I think my major problem is the Original Cab I put on it. It is preventing me from using the tractor as much as I could. Since installed, I can’t access my yard well due to overhanging limbs. So, I am looking at modifying the cab to pull it off easily each spring, as...

Since the Zero, the Tractor Sits

Thanks everyone. I’m of the same thought. Why sell for $0.50 on the dollar just to wish I’d have kept it. I could see selling the bagger and mower deck, but I feel someday when I’m too old to keep up our property and it gets sold, the package will be worth more than the peanuts I’ll get...

Since the Zero, the Tractor Sits

Well, I do have uses. Several. I used to use the forks all the time. I think I’m at a time when I have so much disorganization that it’s just inconvenient to dig the tractor out and use it. I’m working on a new rack that holds all my attachments, so I can quickly and easily snag the bucket or...

Since the Zero, the Tractor Sits

After fussing with the dang drive-over deck on my BX2670 a couple of years ago, I looked into trading off the BX since I couldn’t find a used standard mower deck. Long story short, the BX2670 went bye-bye, and a BX2380 took its place with a new deck that wouldn’t be a thorn in my side...

    Kubota Bagger

I have a bagger for my BX. I found the brackets for the boot were not properly aligned, and it caused enough obstruction to impact the flow. I even re-coped the boot to sit completely on the deck. Now I have minimal issues. I did buy quick release clamps, so when I go have a clog, it’s an...

    Lightest Weight SSQA Forks

I’m looking for a set of forks for my BX2380. Due to me getting the SSQA that already cuts the lift capacity, I’d like to find the lightest forks. Ai2 has the lightest I have found (167#), but they are backlogged for some time. I just thought I’d check to see how other fork companies are doing...

Buying Advice Anybody buy/install or review an atvcabs cab for a BX? (2370/2380)

Well, I bought the Original Cab with the glass windshield and electric wiper, and rear view mirrors. It was here in two days. WOW! Great customer service. I’m anxious to put it on, but still have leaf bagging this year, so I’m going to try and hold off putting it on until later in October. I...

Buying Advice Anybody buy/install or review an atvcabs cab for a BX? (2370/2380)

Thanks, atitus74. Have you found the manual wiper sufficient? I’ve often thought the electric to be a perk I’ll pay for, but rarely use. However, I face west, nothing around, and expect the blowing snow melting on the windshield to be a pain and requiring me to flip wiper on/off to avoid...

Buying Advice Anybody buy/install or review an atvcabs cab for a BX? (2370/2380)

Thanks for the recommendation. The Sims Yukon for the 70-Series is $4,500 with soft doors. Not much savings over the base ATV, which is removed in minutes. Sims doesn’t show an 80-Series yet. I’ll have to contact them.
