    King County WA cougar attack

Mountain Lions are common in our area. Last summer while working at my desk I saw one casually walk by about 20' from my window late one afternoon. The California Department of Fish and Wildlife reports 21 verified mountain lion attacks since 1986 of which 3 were fatal. The majority were in...

King Kutter spreader; decreasing the “spread”

I don't know anything about spreaders but what if you slit the end of the vanes where the vertical meets the upward and lower curves and bent the flap inward to deflect the throw. Or as an alternative you could fabricate an angled piece of metal to mount at the ends to act as a deflector. The...

I have one that fits on my bucket or forks. I used it only once to dig out a rotted stump and it worked very well.

Tire Chains for Traction on Turf Tires - Areas Beyond Snow?

If you look up logging skidders on YouTube you will see that they often run full sets of chains for working in mud, soft soils, etc. Whole other types of beasts but principles are similar. People that work in the woods with compact tractors often use chains as well for those conditions.

    Upgrade from CK2610 to DK5310?

I have a DK5010. Great tractor. Moved up from a 30 HP Kioti. Appreciate the extra power, traction, and larger bucket which is great for moving snow. It is longer and wider which requires more attention and care in maneuvering near objects. It has 8 forward speeds - 4 speed transmission and high...

Mk Martin pull behind snowblower problems with quick hitch

I switched to Pat's quick hitch after I got my snowblower because the regular quick hitch with the top bar connector interfered with the angle of the PTO shaft.

    ATV advice

Got a 2022 Kawasaki Mule Pro MX this year and set it up for snow plowing which has not happened yet. Very impressed with it so far. Looking forward to sitting inside it when the snow is flying.

That is certainly much better, especially on irregular surfaces!!!

    RTV OR COMPACT TRACTOR PLOW

On my gravel driveway & parking with small terrain changes float does not work as well as making small adjustments on the fly whether I am using the plow or loader bucket. I prefer my UTV which is more compact and maneuverable and the plow just rides over the ground. I use the tractor when snow...

    Question for existing dealers

My impression is that Kioti has a stronger reputation than Mahindra. But this viewpoint is from my perspective as a buyer owner not as a dealer.

    Reviews on Ozone Generators

Have had much experience with ozone generators to remove cigarette smoke, pet urine odors, etc. Some years ago we had an oil heating stove installed. The installation was faulty and oil leaked into carpet, etc. We ran an ozone generator for several days which removed most or all of the odors. We...

    2001 Kioti 3054 tractor

Owned a 1999 LK3054. Bought with a little over 200 hours in 2011. Sold it 4 or 5 years later to buy a larger tractor. Had very few issues with it. Solid tractor. Fairly basic.

    Hydraulic Fittings Leaking

Hi Folks. Have been having a problem with leaks on the hoses that go from the loader control to the loader. A professional replaced one of the hoses but still had leakage so decided to replace the other three hoses. Had them made at an hydraulic shop. The problem area is with the fittings that...

    Chipper recommendation

Here is a review I did last year for the Mackissic TPH185 Chipper/Shredder. Mighty Mac® Hammermill Shredder Chipper TPH185 - MacKissic I purchased it new this summer. It is rated to shred up to 1.5” diameter through the shredder and chip up to 4.5” diameter through the chipper. I sold my newer...
