Has anybody added some version of a position control to an X-series for use in landscaping and grading? Although I understand that it's usually a hydraulic feedback circuit, I wondered if anyone clever had fabricated a poor man's mechanical limiting type version for these smaller tractors.

This is installed on the tractor I just got, I have the installation manual but nothing that tells me what it is for and it doesn't seem to match any of the implements or accessories I got along with the tractor. Can't find any reference here on TBN forums or Deere.com. Thank you,
