Saplings and brush around pond banks. Suggestions?

If they are phragmites don't even bother cutting them when they are growing. They should be cut when dead or burned (typically winter months or early spring). They spread easily via rhizome. Best advice is to spray after they get tall with an aquatic glyphosphate. Then bring or cut. Repeat the...

    Cyclone XL vs Kubota Bagger

Thanks all. I ended up with a DR Pro. A local guy didn't like it for his property and he offloaded it to me for $600 with the extra hose attachment. I got it set up today. Worst part is for this to work I had to remove the 3 point hitch. I dont use the 3 point much as I only spray as well and...

    Cyclone XL vs Kubota Bagger

ondering what everyone would recommend? The Cyclone XL or the Kubota bagger system for a bx2380? Leaning towards the Cyclone as it looks like it might be easier to set up and unhook when I want to do loader work. Goal is to remove leaf debris and cutting to help rid the area of ticks.

    Bx or B

Would anyone recommend a pine rake or landscape rake for getting all the brush (mostly teasel) i mowed down into a pile? I think the pine rake would work better but the landscape with wheels might suffice.

    Bx or B

I know another post asking for everyone's opinion. Ive research and researched and I'm truly torn between the bx and b. Background, property is 8 acres. Flat but bumpy old farmland which hasnt been cared for in 2-3 years. County drain runs through one side of property but I won't touch that. One...

    New from Michigan

Been lurking here for a couple months since I purchased 8 acreas. Its old farm field that was split into parcels in the early 2000s. One large tree and mostly overgrown weeds. Lots of teasel. Looking at buying a Kubota as they are the only dealer close by. Thinking a bx or b series. Want around...
