THe fuel filter is in a very tight place and there is a small black cover that I cant remove. I took out the screw but the other en hooks on the frame and I cannot figure out how to get it off. Does anyone know hoe to get this small black cover off ?

It seems my old JD 175 with snow thrower threw the snow farther than my new setup. Why would that be ? Maybe it seems the thrower is not spinning as fast as the old one ? There was only about 6 or 7 inches of snow, maybe not enough to fill the thrower ?

How do I remove the hood on my JD GX 345 to service the engine ? Do I need a torque wrench to change the valve cover gaskets or can it be done with a regular socket wrench ?

I removed the fender pan and had it sandblasted and painted. I The cushions under the pan were rotted and fell apart when removing them. Does anyone know where I can get replacements and where they go on the bottom of the pan ? I did salvage one pad for the fuel line.
