    rtv 400-2mph in high gear

Was out of town for a couple of weeks and let some guys drive my RTV 400 around my place with their little kids. Now has no power in high gear. Goes maybe 3 mph and barely makes it up little hills. Low gear is better and reverse is maybe 60% normal. Engine starts fine, rpms fine, shifts...

Box Scraper  box blades...is bigger better?

I have an Kubota L3901 and a newbie at all things ag. A 5 ft box blade adequately (but barely) covers the tracks. But "I've read on the internet" that my 40 hp tractor can pull a 6 ft box. So do I go with a blade that's well within the comfort zone of my tractor or go for the bigger/heavier...

"massey is not supporting their small utility tractor lines"

Shopping for my first tractor and have good Kubota dealerships in the area. Have been looking at their L series, but a friend talked me into checking out Massey (solid, dependable, good value for $). I called a dealer who said that they stopped carrying MF because they couldn't get...

Buying Advice  how much HP? need 4x4?, and other advice appreciated

I just bought land in southern Oklahoma with approximately 50 acres in pasture that's been fallow for several years. Pretty flat, with the remainder in pecan bottoms/creeks. I'll be bush hogging waist high pasture, dragging cut red cedar and brush into piles, cutting/maintaining a couple of...
