I mowed orchard grass/ fescue pastures with a 72inch Land Pride rotary mower on an MX5000 DT. Combination did well even when grass was as high as the bonnet of the tractor.

I was in high range on asphalt road. I placed it in 2 wheel drive before leaving my home, but possibly it was not fully disengaged. I really didn’t feel the 4 wheel drive interference on the turns,etc.

4wheel drive won’t function. Drive train locks up when 4WD is engaged. Operates normally in 2WD. Kunitz 5000MX DT (manual transmission).

Learning by doing... becoming more of a D.I.Y.'er having retired! I appreciate learning from others' experiences and problem-solving approaches as well, so as to minimize "learning the hard way" as much! Have a MX5000 DT with front loader and F3060 mower.
