After several decades of farming around the world - owning and working our own land in England, Australia, Scotland and Portugal my wife and I retired in 2021 to only a few hundred square yards of land attached to our house - a former Guest House on the Mainland of the Orkney Islands off the north coast of Scotland.
We like to eat and drink well, especially choosing wines that match the dishes we eat. In our spare time we enjoy rural pursuits that are less vigorous than huntin' and shootin' so now fish for trout in freshwater and the abundant species of fish in the seas around Orkney. We also both still enjoy our gardens, both indoor and out.
