I have an early model MF 245 Diesel. A really good old tractor but it has developed a leak on the injector pump. The pump probably needs to come off for repairs. Is this some thing I can do?? Can I remove and re-install the pump, I am pretty mechanicaly competent. . FYI... I am 84 years old...

I see I am not the only person with poor vision. It certainly slows me down but does not stop me, yet. Lots of good ideas for me to try. Thanks for the replys.

I have several machines to maintain, mowers, roto tillers, MF tractor and so on. I have very poor eye sight, nearly blind. I do OK except when I check the oil in these machines. If the oil is getting dirty I can see it on the dip stick, if the oil is clean I can not see it on the dip stick...
