Help - New Holland TC30 Injector Pump Replacement

I will certainly keep you in mind in the future! The prior owner pulled the pump, disassembled it, and marred the housing :-/.

Help - New Holland TC30 Injector Pump Replacement

This is absolutely fantastic! I will look at the timing for the tc30, but the procedure should be spot on! From what I remember, the TC35 is the same 3cyl as the TC30. The TC40 and up should be a 4cyl if memory serves...as I've had both a TC40 and TC45 in years past. I appreciate you...

Help - New Holland TC30 Injector Pump Replacement

I asked, and even called the local dealer... nothing. The New Holland dealer couldnt even source a pump for me. I've spent the last 30 minutes digging, trying to find the procedure for the spill-timing. I understand what that is, but theres nothing I can find on how to set it. Does your...

Help - New Holland TC30 Injector Pump Replacement

Recently purchased a mid 2000's New Holland TC30. It has the little Shibaura N843 - 3 Cyl Diesel. I purchased the tractor not-running. Supposedly, the injector pump was gummed up.. and was disassembled prior to my purchase. I have the bucket of parts and the pump housing..and some of the...

John Deere 5085E Stuck in 4wd

The tractor is now fixed. Unfortunately the solution to the problem, was no solution at all. Apparently the tractor is a woman, and it finally just decided to change its mood and work correctly. JD and myself chased circuits, replaced controllers, etc to no avail. The "fix" was found by...

John Deere 5085E Stuck in 4wd

Correct. The EHC was one from a different, identical tractor that I was given to try, so not out any $. While it’s possible it’s also bad, I doubt it has a circuit failure in the exact same way as the original.

John Deere 5085E Stuck in 4wd

I’ve already tested the switch, and the solenoid. They are both fine. Yes, applying outside voltage to the solenoid would physically put the tractor in 2wd. But that’s not what I’m after. There’s a wiring / controller issue here, and I want to fix it right, and find out why the solenoid is not...

John Deere 5085E Stuck in 4wd

Yes. K15 is. And fuse # 20 is good. Removing either of these (the relay or the fuse) cuts the 12v power to the 4wd switch.

John Deere 5085E Stuck in 4wd

I actually Purchaed a new solenoid, as I thought that was the issue at first. I’ve tested the solenoid, and it’s good. I haven’t tried manually powering the solenoid while it’s in the tractor to see if it will physically come out of 4wd, since I was getting 0 volts to the solenoid - it told me...

John Deere 5085E Stuck in 4wd

Just an update. I've traced all the circuits. Switch circuit has 12v, and all wires going to the EHC were tested for continuity and then load tested. Same with the wire coming out of the EHC to the solenoid. The EHC is just not producing voltage to the solenoid. So, new EHC it is...
