My spreader is my hands right out of the bag but I'm just spreading cerial rye. Dont need to fancy things up with Rye and the deer still love to eat it under the snow in the gun season.
The same way the belt noise wasn't heard or the flapping of the belt coming appart wasn't heard. Warning dont matter if you dont pay attention to them.
What specifically does the town say about burning?
Mine technically dosnt allow it either but allows "contained cooking fires" I keep a 8yr old pack of marshmallows near my 275gal burn barrel. I have had a fire going for 10days before. Alot cheaper than a chipper.
The problem with a blower in alot of the northeast is you will get wet sloppy snow and that type of snow just dosnt blow well. What's your plan B for those storms?
I have owned a 6' blower for my tractor for about 4yrs here in NY and have yet to even blow snow with it. We mostly get smaller...
This is why typicaly a "parts machine" isnt worth it. If the parts are good then just get the machine running. If there not then its junk. The only way is if theres a specific part that you cant obtain.
If your mixing motor oil and diesel 50/50 you can spray it with a HVLP gun. Its prety thin at that point. I have a shed sprayed like this.
I prefer to use a brush on my trailer as I can work the oil into and cracks real well.
I'm talking more about the huge piece of C channel that's supporting the back of the blade. Tilt and angle dont mean anything if the blade is bent in half.
I paid $400 for that one in 2022 as you see it. Hardly used it but to cheap to pass it up.
For a machine of that size your going to want a cat 1/2 capable rear blade. Alot of these rear blades have nearly no rear support and can bend really really easy.
I wouldnt do a diverter for the simple fact that nearly every time when I'm moving brush with my grapple I need to scoop the pile then roll the open grapple over the top, then come down on it and close the grapple. I have it connected to a rear remote and it's kind of a pain in the ass.
