    MT3000 Won't start. Starter/solenoid?

Bless you! I have a meter on order but it won't be here 'till the end of the month. Cleaned a fair amount of goo off today, will be back for the next step...

    MT3000 Won't start. Starter/solenoid?

Road - thanks for the input. I don't currently have a meter, it was stolen and I haven't replaced it but I'll probably order one today because it's stupid not to have one. I have no training, experience or confidence troubleshooting electronics. It's not readily apparent to me which terminal...

    MT3000 Won't start. Starter/solenoid?

Today, turn the key the first time and got one little burp, then nothing. Swapped in a spare battery just charged up that my fancy charger said is good. Nothing. Hooked up cables to a loose rv batt, nothing. Cables to my buddy's vehicle, nothing. Prior to today, no real problem starting...

Derp, the main drive belt was loose.

Doesn't want to go into gear.

I'm completely at sea here, so basic instruction would help. I've not yet checked any fluids or clutch because I don't know where to start. I do ride the clutch - there seems to be no other way to control the speed of the beast. But I've only put maybe 5 hours on this since I got it. Can...

MT3000 hydraulic oil filter, v idler pulley

Reached out to Struck for info, archiving it here for others... 000680B Hydraulic filter (MT3000, MD750, MH5000 Serial #H1371 and earlier) Napa #1259 MT3-422 4" V Idler, 4" x 3/8 Bore Since their price on the filter was 2X of Napa's, I figured I would also try to source the pulley...

    zerks/grease help

Yeh, I may fall back to that. Just sprayed penetrant and had some success, figured I'd put a few hours on it and some movement to break up the gunk on the 3 remaining bad ones and try another round of spray. If that doesn't work I'm gettin' one of those. Thanks!

    zerks/grease help

Appreciate the suggestion, but I'm a chicken with applying fire and this is a painted surface, probably f up the paint (or rather, what's left of it) by the time it got warm enough to do anything to the gunk inside... I can see how this might be good for a gunked zerk tip...

    zerks/grease help

Thanks, jaxs! Found a nifty thing to inject a lighter oil/penetrant under pressure on youtube, $45 on amazon but a week to get here so I said to heck with it, let's go for the big guns. I put a nozzle on the pb penetrant and sprayed 4 of 'em, started up the rig and moved 'em around, put in the...

    zerks/grease help

In the process of replacing all of the zerks and greasing. Not going so well. The 5 zerks down by the tracks were mostly good - I can't see what's going on there, if grease is going everywhere, but most of 'em would take 6 pumps and one I gave 10 as an experiment. But a few won't take any...

    Newbie Magnatrac MT3000 owner

Thanks, guys, really didn't expect such a quick response as the magnatrac topic here isn't exactly on fire. Good to hear that Struck is responsive, haven't reached out to them yet as I'm still working out what questions I have for them, don't want to be too much of a nag when I do get their...

Gettin' too old for that pony I've always wanted so I bought this tractor. I've never been a tractor owner before. Had I been, I would have known to look at all the zerks and check out the lube situation, but it doesn't seem as bad as it could be. Maybe I could have negotiated a bit lower...
