Hello pstg. I believe you have hit the nail firmly on its head. That makes a lot of sense, the shaft adjusts the steering input and the switch the front diff, increasing steering when required. Well spotted. Thanks 🙏

Thanks..(y) On this model, the PTO speed is controlled by a lever on the LHS of the Cab. The lever in question seems to slide the main steering shaft transverse by approx. 15mm. Ive added some photo that might help.
