Importing and modifying a new mini excavator from China

I have been following this and wanting my own mini-ex ever since you first started this thread (hey a kid has to have dreams). In a very odd twist of fate i was on You-Tube the other day and saw a "suggested video" of some folks who were detailing their experience buying a Mini-Ex using...

    Mounting side mirrors?

There's other manufacturers besides this one, it was just the first that came to mind. Adhesive-Bonded Studs & Standoffs: Aerospace, UAVs, Marine Something like these standoffs use high grade adhesive and should never void any type of warranty.

3rd Function install Summary on DK40SE HST

The kit from EA is made by W.R. Long and can be found here: Everything Attachments 3rd function kit I wasn't a fan of the actual control grip so I built my own 3rd function using a JD grip. 623989

    Rebuilding a Stihl 025 - advice welcome

So my old faithful 025 finally laid down on me. The repair guy that looked at it says the cylinder (and piston) are scored. I lucked into a major deal on a new but older Husky e445 so I'm in no hurry to fix the Stihl so I figured I'd take a crack at it myself. What other parts besides the...

Confirm I'm doing it right. Adding 3 spool for remotes

Man did you ever get lucky. Both ends of the hard line on the CK35 have these Banjo style fittings. Glad your project is coming together well. Nothing beats having a good hydraulic shop locally, you might spend a little more over internet prices, but the knowledge you have access to is priceless.

3-Point Hitch Tractor Three Point Hitch CROSS-DRAWBARS

Some set-up use hard links from the drawbar to the top link connector on the tractor. For many many years growing up we used this type of draw bar on our 8N till we finally added the frame mounted drawbar kit. Here's a "borrowed" image from the web similar to what we had. 3pt lift arms...

    TODAYS SEAT TIME

Over the course of the last two weekends about 3 trailer loads like this and 5 or 6 buckets of rock (I lost count lol!) Wasn't much "seat time" for me. All the rock and about half the brush was hand loaded so it was more "feet time". On the bright side, the bush hog will thank me come August...

    Pirahna Bar for CK3510SE?

Ok so I keep forgetting to get pictures of what I wanted every time I'm at the farm, but I was doing some greasing & repairs today and I happened to think about it. It's not great (sun was at my back & I couldn't see the screen) but I think you can see where the PTB stops short of the factory...

    CK3510/4010

Regarding the issue of split brakes I'm not sure you will like them even if you had them. In the specific situation you mention for minor "course drift" correction maybe, for all out "power turning" to make a tight corner - don't bother. Even though the CK35 / CK3510 and the 8N have almost the...

Grappling fun - A Picture Thread....

Using the Compact Wicked to move some loose hay. Definitely have to use the roll & pack technique but once you get it packed up it takes a pretty good bite.

3-Point Hitch Stabilizing a 3 pt hitch for hayride trailer

If you're talking about using a 3pt drawbar that goes between the lift arms then you can run bracing bars from the lift arms to the top link connector to keep the arms from lifting. We used a similar set-up on the 8N for years before we bought the chassis mounted draw bar assembly. Clearest...

    Now that's brand loyalty

Mennonite Man Excommunicated for Switching to John Deere March 27, 2017 Andrew J. Bergman WARMAN, SK Local flax grower, Dwight Schultz, was excommunicated from the MEMC Church this past Sunday after he refused to submit to church authority and replace his John Deere tractor with a Massey...

Manual control of flow and positioning

The first problem to overcome with moving the offset manually is that the Extend side of the cylinder requires a larger volume of fluid than the Retract side (because of the piston rod) so connecting the two together would require some type of reservoir for the extra fluid when not fully...

Thoughts on Massimo / Tractor Supply UTV's

Ok - to preface we (mostly Dad) will not be using this to farm / work (much). It will be more of a runabout vehicle & honestly were it not for the steep grades and a creek or two a golf cart would probably work. Hauling - light duty stuff between the shop & the scrap pile, fuel cans back &...

Anyone running Kioti CK3510 on Ag tires?

Totally forgot by the time I got home. I was able to pull this one off Facebook but not sure it will be of much help.
