Hi all, I previously posted our challenges with a satoh tractor that was shipped to Africa and we were considering installing a toyota 4A engine...
the 4A engine (except for one scarce version o it) is designed to be mounted transversely, we finally opted for installed the toyota 3A engine...
Actually we changed the alternator as soon as it got in Africa, and used whatever could fit the bolt pattern, and the new one didn't have all the wiring module/card that the old one had.
I was suspecting bad ground/wiring...etc as we had experienced the tractor not starting because of wounded...

I bought a used S650G tractor and shipped it to the family farm in Africa... we have had some much starting issues... and we were going through ignition coils like crazy.
We would put a new coil, it would work for a day or 2 and then it would shut off... until buying another coil and...
Pictures of the 1.6 litres Toyota 4A engine and the 1.3 litres Toyota 4E engine, they both have a 200m flywheel, so they should fit, but I wonder how the satoh clutch would work with this... thanks in advance for your responses.
