    Hydraulic issues; ditch bank flail

This control will move the flail from +90 degrees to- 50. I’m finding that every 90 seconds or so I need to adjust. Even on level ground I have tweak it constantly.

    Hydraulic issues; ditch bank flail

This weekend I put together my new ditch bank flail mower. DB Flail I'm having an issue with the hydraulics "fading". The tip of the cutter, furthest from the tractor, is constantly dropping. After only an hour of cutting it's clear that this condition is not going to be acceptable...

    Considering a CRI snow pusher.

My tires are loaded R4s, no chaines. Looks like another 6-8" tonight, I'll get some photos this time.

    Considering a CRI snow pusher.

Today was the ultimate test. 12" of HEAVY wet snow here in Maine, 1000s without power. I was able to put my new 72" snow pusher to the test. As I had anticapeted my L6060 had absolutely no problum driving the pusher. I was able to make several, full cut runs, well over 100yards. Most of today's...

    Considering a CRI snow pusher.

I think I'm going to give the CRI a try. I'll post a followup once I've been able to give it a workout.

    Considering a CRI snow pusher.

I get what you're saying regarding differant types of snow, I've lived in Maine my entire life. My confushion is why would a 6' HD bucket be any less challanging than a 6' pusher? In fact the bucket will very often pick up turf (lots of it) that the pusher likely will not.

    Considering a CRI snow pusher.

I did a review of my stats. I'm moving about 7000lbs with 62 hp and I'm learning that this is not nearly adequate for a 6 foot snow pusher. My original post was to try and learn more about the manufacturer, CRI. I would love to hear from others that have tried a pusher with a setup similar to...

    Considering a CRI snow pusher.

This is interesting. The tractor in the CRI ad is much smaller than mine. Do you think these manufacturers deliberately missleading us. I'm not picking on CRI, nearly every manufacturer have pusher that they promote 30-40 hp tractors. As far as the Blizzard 72" blower, I'm able aggressively feed...

    Considering a CRI snow pusher.

My thougt is that 6060 has no problum pushing the 72" bucket well over 100yards in the heavest of snow. The same size pusher shouldn't be a big leep. I'm guessing that with the loader, loaded tires and rear blower I'm pushing 6000lbs. BTW I'm in Piscataquis county, we can get serious snow here.

    Considering a CRI snow pusher.

I currently have a rear mount 72" blower. I use my bucket as oftent as the blower. I have close to three acers that I keep clear, most of it is turf. I'm giving strong consideration to adding a 72" snow pusher. I've not been able to find much info on CRI but I really like the looks of their...

    Fighting 'Solar Farm' Installation

I'm in Maine, I'm a Selectman for my town. We just passed a commercial solar ordinance. Once you understand the magnitude of the subsidies making these operations possible you can appreciate what a house of cards this entire thing is. Our ordinance requires the cost of cleanup to be addresses...

221 Rice Trailers 7x2 Powder Coated 14K Equipment Trailer w/ Max Ramps MH3165 | Scott's Recreation Any experience with this manufacturer? The Max ramps look like a big improvement over the traditional ramp. Feel free to speak your mind, I'm open to suggestions. Thanks!

L5240 (3) PTO switch is failing to disengage.

Like the title says, I have a PTO switch that sometimes acts as though it's stuck "on". I can tap it and it moves to the off position and the dash light goes out but the PTO keeps operating. This doesn't happen every time I use it and the PTO usually turns off on it's own after a minute of two...

    Price Check  L5240 Value

I have a 3rd generation L5240 with LA854 loader, QA bucket (replaceable cutting edge). 1 set of rear remotes and rear hydraulic loop. 575 hours always stored inside. Overall excellent condition. I'm considering trading for a new L5460 with cab. My question is what is my tractor worth, private...
