I've had issues on my 33 with ground wires and the fuse block infront of the rad. All fuse spade connections where corroded. Maybe from the wet environment since it's directly behind the front grille. I'd like to point out for all that maybe an eye should be kept on the temp gauge. During...
My lights are still on. Engine and DPF. I'm leaving it as is. I havnt heard about resetting the regen clock . I did cut my wires to the solenoid on the solenoid side of the plug not to damage the engine harness side. I did lengthen them by re routing them after cutting. That was suggested...
Here's the update as of today. Tractor runs great. I ran the new throttle cable from the rear facing side of the governor. So it pulls, not pushes. I slid a rubber fuel line over the cable housing where I clamped it down on the black pipe.. This protects the cable and easy to adjust. High rpm...
Ok. On my boomer 33 I got 2 wires from solenoid . So I grounded the black and ran positive to key. So just to be clear your saying put a 5amp fuse from my key to the solenoid. Correct? Is this to limited the rod position depth ?
Thanks for the replies. I discovered that a pickle fork and mini sledge guts the rear can in less than a minute . Havnt hooked up the new throttle/ governor cable yet but I did fire it up. Someone mentioned earlier that once the glow plugs are warm and turning the key to crank it it won't...
Quick question guys. I been following this thread and am about to gut the can. Is the constant 12v going to the newly hotwired/bypassed solenoid from my ignition switch going to cause problems? I'm seeing in posts a 5v source is required . So I'm confused. I don't want it getting fried and...
