Oil trim I don’t think a relief valve would cause that effect. That machine definitely has a lot of wear in the cylinders and the bushings and the control valves And the oil has possibly lost some of its viscosity. Add it all up and you get a little instability.
Well you might be right. This was a single action cylinder I just replaced. I replaced it, was only 2 hundred something, instead of packing. Faster can get back to work.

Mr Rookie the sure fire way to determine which one is leaking is an engine oil test. That would remove any guessing although Mr Roadworthy obviously has dealt with this before. I have not. I do know you will ruin your engine if not corrected quickly
Up front sir I must say I don’t know. But I have knocked a lot of shafts out with an average hammer. Just don’t spread the shaft where you hit it because it will the be difficult to reassemble
Pro I assume this issues is resolved. I was going to point out the only time I ever had that problem was that it was due to air in the lines. Fix it by keep operating it
