    Leaking diesel from injector pump

I saw the bolt w/ mirror but zero chance of getting to it or even a picture of it. And it did look like the source of the leak. I'll be hiring somebody to get it, thanks again.

    Leaking diesel from injector pump

Yea, I'm not comfortable taking the pump off so I'll try the best I can to tighten it in place. I have a bore scope that I'm using, but it started pouring and I can't get out there right now. I'll post any revealing photos if I get them. Thank you so much!

    Leaking diesel from injector pump

I think you got it! I just came in from re-checking towards the back of the pump, and it is coming from there. It is extremely tight to get a hand back there but I'm going back out there after reading this and going to try. My question is this; if it's not that plug, could it be the back end of...

    Leaking diesel from injector pump

I thought this might happen... The picture you are talking about (adjustment screw) is not where the leak is. I used that photo as a reference to where the second picture was taken. The leak is below that area, and is at the very bottom of the pump. The flying saucer looking pic is the "plug"...

    Leaking diesel from injector pump

Hello everybody, I found a slow diesel leak from the underside of my JD 5205 injector pump. There is a large size "plug" on the very bottom and is not easy to reach without taking the pump off. Is anybody aware of what this is and why it's leaking? It only leaks a few drips per hour. Picture...

JD X749 starter solenoid without power

That's a weird one... I'll remove the fuse and see what happens.

JD X749 starter solenoid without power

This is where it gets foggy for me. I have read that sequence chart and get stopped at the "A1 Display". I have not taken apart the panel to look at the PTO switch yet, but it was working as a safety stop before not allowing to start with it engaged. Now with the temporary solenoid wire, I'm not...

JD X749 starter solenoid without power

Thanks, but as my post stated every bit of this was done including all voltage checks, replacing relays and ignition switch, and checking the solenoid. The fact that my temporary wiring has it starting perfect shows there is nothing wrong with it. There is a bad wire hidden in the loom somewhere...

JD X749 starter solenoid without power

That's not my preference, but I have already resigned myself to that scenario. It will go right back to the starter lugs of the ignition switch. Thanks

JD X749 starter solenoid without power

Yes, I know this but the problem is access to most of the wires. Most are protected in a plastic conduit and run through portions of frame and body that you just can't get to without complete disassembly. The possible dash problem that the schematic notes is what I have zero capability to diagnose.

Yes I have. I have looked everywhere and it all looks good. Thanks

CX2510 HST 2022 Shuts Off Suddenly

I just finished the exact same thing on a JD mower. The fuel pick up screen was dirty with a film of black stuff, but didnt look to be that bad. I cleaned it which fixed the problem.

JD X749 starter solenoid without power

Hey everybody, My JD X749 w/ Yanmar engine is giving me fits. The starter has been finicky for about a year being reluctant to turn over. It seemed if I finessed the key as I was tuning the key it would finally engage. Assuming it was the switch I changed it out without success, and continued...
