Hey guys, Just wanted to post an update. Got a new positive battery cable with the ignition power plug from the John Deere dealership yesterday. Starts right up now. Probably better than it has for the 10 years I’ve owned it. Thanks again for all the insights and help. Matt

An update after tonight’s brief trouble shooting session. After reading a few older posts decided I would check the ground wire off the battery. Didn’t look terrible but I cleaned it up and added dielectric grease. Connected to the battery dash lit up like it should and much less sluggish this...

Battery load tested good and seems to be fine. Any suggestions for next steps? Thanks

Thanks. Just waiting for it to complete the charge and then I’ll load test. I think I got way ahead of myself but discounted the battery after I couldn’t jump it. Hopefully that will do it.
