Material costs rising- what would you buy now to hedge inflation

Wire size is determined by ampacity. !5amp - 14 ga. 20 Amp -12 ga....Check code where you need each. !2 ga everywhere is overkill and it's a ***** to secure IMO...

Okay this is odd. The Vultures are back.

I used to be that the turkey vultures returned to Hinckley, OH on March 15.....That may have been true years ago, now they seem to be in SW Ohio all year and now we have black vultures. I saw three in town feeding on a flattened coon in middle of a busy street. All they do is retreat to side of...

    Big Cars are killing Americans

You can't fix stupid or the people that habit the roads with no regard for others, be it pedestrians, farm equipment, school buses or fellow drivers obeying all speed and lane rules....

looking to buy a 3 pt tiller

I have a 5' king Cutter, I've used it with my M4000 and IH340 and both did well. I till my garden and several of the neighbors at least twice a year and have had no issues -it's more than 10 years

    Contemplating a box blade

I bought a 5' bushhog brand more than 40 years ago for my 8n. I put in driveway (1000') did all the finish grading around my house (probably an acre), built a small pond, using my M4000 with FEL...I don't use it much anymore as I have other options........

    FEL works off remotes

I have an 81 M4000..with a Bushhog 2400QT. The M4000 does not have dedicated remote hydraulics, you have to switch between 3 point and remote or install a PTO pump and reservoir to supply the FEL...Bushhog did supply the entire system once upon a time. I haven't checked to see if it's still...

Need advice on a larger chainsaw for an older guy.

You must be dreaming.....the cutter profile is exactly the same and the carbide will outlast HSS many times over. As for sharpening yeah it takes special equpment but I have yet to need resharpening and I have felled and cut up a **** ton of dead ash.

Need advice on a larger chainsaw for an older guy.

I haven't seen that post..all I can say is that cutting for over 40 years...nothing beats carbide, hands down best chain for all hardwoods

Need advice on a larger chainsaw for an older guy.

The best buy I ever made was to go carbide. I have Stihl Duro's on my MS250 (16" )and Echo 306 (14") and a Plasmadyne carbide insert on my Chinese 20" saw....you will never go back to HSS

Saplings and brush around pond banks. Suggestions?

Think treating stumps with Tordon is part of solution....they won't come back, but new seedlings need to be treated before they get too big and that means mechanical removal or spray.

What Do You Do With Your Waste Oil?

There are a lot of shops that burn used oil. I dropped off two 55 gallons drums last fall at a place that uses over 1000 gallons a year.
