Thank you. There has to be plenty of old machines in the UK to get a reasonable secondhand steering box. If not, I've found a source for a new shaft and work gear bearing.

I think its a Kubota. Looking at various adverts advertising the column shaft with worm bearing. This item was listed as fitting all these tractors (mine actually being the TX2140); Iseki TX1300, Iseki TX1500, Iseki TX145, Iseki TX155, Iseki TX2140, Iseki TX2160.

Since Brexit, many companies won't ship to the UK, perhaps they're one of them. As you say Tractorpartz can be expensive, Though I spoke to a UK Iseki agent today and their prices were a bit steep. I have since found out the clutch plate in the Suzuki LJ80 is the same one as used in the Iseki...
