    284 Jinma Fence Posts

I am going to attempt a small fencing project and have considered whether I would get my money out of a new post hole digger over the years (Ray at Coldwater here in Hoquiam has them for $600). A friend suggested that I buy the pointed posts and push them into the ground with my loader bucket...

Finally able to post again. Been running brush hog hard last few weeks and almost have lot cleared. Two quick questions....It seems my Jinma 284 was advertised as having two speeds on PTO. If this is true, how do I change speeds and which do I use for brush hogging? Second, it seems I read...

    Top Link Length?

Anyone notice a problem with proper length of top link with Jinma 284. I bought a new 5 ft. brushhog made by JBar. I believe I assembled it properly. I bought what my dealer said was standard top link that is supposed to fit, but it is a foot too short. It is about 20" in length before screwing...

    Hydraulic output screw plug?

Thanks to all of your help, I made it through the fluid change ordeal and learned a lot about my new 284. Your instructions sure make a lot more sense after the fact. Seems easy to follow now that I have done it, but wouldn't have missed the learning experience. Came across this nob under...

    Getting started?

It arrived today. Thanks to advice on this site, I made my decision and received delivery of my new Jinma 284 today. I feel I got a great price from my local dealer that I heard about on this site, but he does nothing but assemble tractors and top off fluids (paid $7400 for tractor and loader...

    Jinma 284 vs 224

Have option of 284LE or 224. Does anyone have an opinion if 284 is worth $1800 more than standard 224. 284 is LE with shuttle shift and factory Jinma loader. 224 is older style with Koyker 140.

    first chinese tractor?

Just bought 9 acres in Washington and need to push dirt around and brush hog to eventually do the 'hobey farm' thing. Limited budget but only want to buy one time. Considering Jinma 284 with factory loader for $9500 plus tax = $10260, Jinma 204 with Koyker 140 loader for $8400 tax free in...
