I'd like to check the timing on my 3010. I slipped the access plate aside and have a clear view of the flywheel. But I can see no timing marks of any kind. What am I looking for exactly? Bill Shields Luray, VA

How do you change the fan belt on a JD 3010? Oddly enough, neither the operating manual nor the shop manual offer any advice. It's not obvious how you get the belt off the lower pulley. Bill Shields Luray, VA

I just bought the JD rotary cutter (bush hog) shown in the attached pics. I can't find a model or serial number on it. It has a 60" cut and two flail blades. Can anyone tell me what model and year it is -- or at least come close? I'd like to get the operating manual and a chain guard for it...
