I’m just about to trade a 2016 3039R HST for a new one. The dealer doesn’t care if I sell it before my new one is ready for delivery.
$29k with 950 hours, 385A backhoe, 18”HD bucket, H165 loader, 61”HD b let and bolt-on cutting edge & R4 tires.
I’m just about to trade my 2016 3039R, H165 loader w/61” HD bucket, 385A backhoe w/18” HD bucket, 900 hours.
The dealer is giving me $30,000. I’d be happy to sell it privately.
My tire man encouraged me to try CEAT tires, when I replaced the original Good Year radials on my 2016 5100M. The sidewalls on the Good Years we’re breaking down. It’s been a year and the CEATs are holding-up so far.
I’m in the process of trading my 2016 3039R with 165 loader and 385A backhoe for a 2024 model with 320R loader and 385A backhoe.
I ordered the new one in February and it just came in.
Apparently the new backhoe is a 2023 model with the big, steel shields on the back. I’ve asked the dealer to get...
The most recent tractor tires I’ve purchased are CEAT R1 radials. I’m very happy with them. The sidewalls on the original Good Years were breaking down. 2017 5100M 4wd.
I’d be more interested in finding a high-quality fuel from a reputable company. I’ve almost never bought diesel anywhere but at Irving or Southern States. They both have 50 cetane, rather than 40 and Irving owns its own refineries. No additives necessary, year-round.
That looks like a very heavy plow for that tractor, especially mounted several feet ahead of the coupler. I think you'd be better off with a plow that's slightly wider than the track of your front tires, probably the width of your loader bucket. You should be plowing each side of the driveway...
I simply wipe off excess grease with paper towels and WD40, which I buy in gallon cans and dispense in a plastic spray bottle. The WD40 leaves a layer of protection and feeds the paint.
The tractor in this photo is 7 years old with more than 2000 hours. 👍🏻
I have a Miller PTO driven stump grinder that I’m very happy with. It was built to order for me in 2014 and is controlled with three toggle switches in a handheld box. As far as I know, it’s the only one of its kind. Jeff Miller sold the company soon after building my stump grinder and I’ve...
4wd should always be engaged for loader work, but don‘t engage it on pavement unless your moving snow. Never use the foot pedal that locks the rear, until you’re stuck. It’s your last resort to get out of a bad situation.
I’ve never had this problem, however I do remember reading in a manual that raising the loader and maybe rolling the bucket back and forth is a method of getting the hydraulic oil moving.
This is a subject we've been discussing in rustyshackleford's thread about the problems he's had with his new 5E series tractors. I have had a similar problem with my new tractor.
Simply stated, when I push the brake pedals on my 2014 5075E tractor, they go straight to the floor and do not...
