I could’ve bought a JD 4052 R for at least $6,000 less than a Kubota Grand L 5460. JD didn’t even make it in my top 4 picks, ended up buying Kubota and I know I got a lot better tractor. The other 3 in my top 4 picks were MF 2860 M, Yanmar YT 359, and Kioti NS 6010.

Check to see what the “filtered” side snorkel / intake boot looks like. If it’s got a pretty good coating of dust , it’s ingested some. I’m a former motorcycle / atv / SxS mechanic, and have seen so many machines that people neglect air filter maintenance.

Hoping I can get my cash deposit back on the Kubota and thinking I should maybe just get a Kioti NS6010 cab. $10,000 bucks less and that’s with R14 tires included and Kubota with Trac Loader 2 tires. And Kioti is built heavier , much stouter front axle and higher loader capacity.

You know I’m glad you brought that up ! I never even considered asking for tires and rims 😁. I do know Kubota is pretty proud of their tractors. The base price starts with no tires ! And it’s $3,100 for the Trac Loader 2 tires !! Yeah kind of crazy , come crated like a lawnmower .
