When I have plastic panels I need to remove on a regular basis for maintenance, I install Rivnuts in the hole. Then use a metal bolt to secure the panel. No more plastic push pins. B.
Yeah, valve lash is important for sure. The smaller the engine the more sensitive they are to valve adjustment. Your friends RTV is prolly the 500 model with a two cylinder gas engine. My employer has a handful of those. One broke a rod a few months ago so we pulled the engine and rebuilt...
I did. And my first thought was, "Keep your hands and feet inside the ride at ALL times." Then another person on the video yells at the driver to keep his hand inside. That was a close call. B.
WOW, that guy was VERY lucky. If that boulder wasn't there, he prolly would have been killed tumbling down that mountain. Here I am thinking the units I'm interested in maybe to wide. Then you post this video of a narrower unit. I guess it boils down to the right tool for the job. B.
True. There ARE some really nice gas rigs still available in California. I have contacted CFMoto about their products. They said their dealer network would be the best place for a time frame. Right none of their rides I'm interested in are available here. B.
Correct DE71. I'm not much for electric carts of UTVs. Though they have improved in capability these last few years. They are just not me. Nor is a gas golf cart. Not happening (LOL). B.
I looked at a Can Am Defender HD10 XT and Limited yesterday. Looks to be a well built unit. Sales rep said it is the heaviest built unit on the market. I think he forgot about the Polaris 1500. B.
Yeah, the farmer I work for has a few of the RTV500's. One is on the shop right now for a blown motor. Upon disassembly, we found one of the rod bolts had un-screwed itself and fell into the pan. Not long later the rod broke.
The engines on these units are restricted emission motors...
