With ANY grease gun, should you get an air lock, just unscrew the cartridge canister just a turn or two, then pull the rod out of the canister and push back in. Air pocket is gone.

Use a razor blade and cut around base of filter where it meets the block. Filter got sealed with paint at factory.

To say the Kubotas are "neutered" on hills is not a true statement. I own the RTV 1140X and yes, it is NOT a race machine, but it is WORK HORSE! And yes, it is slow going up hills, but it pulls a trailer uphill with no problems. Top speed is about 23 mph in 2wd and one person. But that is fine...

I use mine all the time for bucket, grapple, front mount sickle saw. Works well with keeping forks level too.
