I called it a filter but yes it's a screen. I took it out a second time just to be sure and it was still clean

I hope someone can help! I have a ford 1700 2cylinder diesel tractor that has sat up nearly 10 years. After installing a new battery and freed up a cam inside the injector pump, I was able to get her running. She would move but no hydraulics. I checked the fluid and it was milky gray. Drained...
