I ended up going with the 5ft Mahindra rake. Got it for $850, after tax $900. The price was right and it had a good weight to it. Also picked up a 54” (BB1254) Landpride box blade. Had some paint scuffed up and wasn’t assembled. The dealer took $250 off and threw in a can of paint.

i hear a lot of guys talking about buying out of state becuase it is cheaper. what i am wondering about is the sales tax. since i live in connecticut, if i were to buy in say Pennsylvania or New Hampshire i would not have to pay any sales tax (correct)? i wouldn't even have to report anything...

i love them, all the tractors are #1 or close to #1 when comparing statistics to other tractor brands. not to mention the fair price and loads of standard features.
