Rotary Cutter Is a stump jumper needed for a 4-foot brush hog?

I have an old 5 foot brush mower on my cs2410 and wouldn't have any smaller one. Yes it bogs down in heavy but go slow or half cut. If the mower hits any thing too solid it kills the engine and nothing get broken. Go with the 5ft if it go on the trailer and through the doors.

    20 inch chainsaw recommendation

I like my husky rancher 455, easiest saw to start I've ever had. But to cut 30in plus osage orange the 70cc saw is a must. So I have an old steil av045 and a foreign blue thunder for the big and love my 16in battery saw for trimming

Help me pick a tractor (25-45 HP)

My DK 45 kioti with grapple, root scoop, forklift and bucket does for me what you are describing. Weight is up there about 5500. Also have a rear blade, box blade, 7ft brush and a 8in chipper.

Comparison Buying my first sub compact tractor need help deciding.

I have a cs 2410 kioti and keep tire chains on year around. I use it for small animal lots and some road mowing with a 5 foot brush mower. Handy little tractor but if I didn't have other bigger ones it would be too small. Get a 5 or 6 foot zero turn for mowing and a used subcompact or at least a...

Anyone ever had to clear thorny Locust trees?

Good tools help, grapple, cut trees down and cut into 15 lenghts, dope with RTU, have liquid tube in tires or beet juice, and try not to step or get stabbed.

    1st time buyer - 35 hp comparisons

My rule of thumb width x .5 x mph = ac/hr. Pertty well takes in over lap and turns.

    slightly twisted bucket arms.

I did this very thing to my neighbors kubota. Cut the tube and reweld with a plate in between

How Many Have More Than One Tractor?

I've always ended up with 4. 4 when farming 500 ac and now 4 for retirement farming. Tn55 NH, DK45HSTC Kioti, CS2410 Kioti, still have the Allis WD45 that I've been driving for 68 years.

1.5 acres. Am I nuts for thinking about a tractor?

Two of my must haves, a HST and a grapple. With all the trees a chipper will see more use than a BH.

CX2510 Cab R14 Goodyear - What tire pressures?

I've always ran the rear tire pressure of 12 to 15 psi on all of my tractors. Too much and you run risk of a stick pucture.

    Thinkin about..

I went with the husqvarna 455 from northern tool to replace my old homlite 360 that I pick ed up at a farm sale 15 years ago for $45. The 455 is easiest restarting saw that I've ever had. For big hedge I crank up my old av045 stihl, it always great to have the 70+ cc'd working for you.

Do I really need a tractor on 1.5 acres?

I have an 92 kubota 5200 42in mower, a 4ft grasshopper a turn and a kioti CS2410 with a 5 ft rear mower and I keep chains on all except the grasshopper which I keep out of wet and steep areas. A tiller is great on the sub compact for the garden.
