    Field cultivator repair

Problem is that it won’t fit onto the toolbar due to the bend being so close. I can’t even get it on there to see if the mounting bracket will work.

    Field cultivator repair

Look at the pics. Is there some trick to getting the replacement s-tine to fit on the toolbar? From the s-tine comparison they look close and I’m assuming the old ones are stretched. Did I buy the wrong tines? Any help is much appreciated. The cultivator is an allis chalmers.

    Mowing Dk40 pto problems

Following up on this. I feel that the PTO clutch is bad or slipping when cold, which is why it only works when warm. Any thoughts on this theory? At first it didn’t make a lot of sense when someone suggested it, but now I think it does. Anybody know if the tractor had to be slit to change this?

    Mowing  Dk40 pto problems

My dk40 has had this issue for some time now, thankfully I don’t need the pto that much. It seems that the pto only works after the tractor warms up. It rarely/never works when I start the tractor no matter how many times I flip the switch or manipulate manual/auto or anything else. If I need...

Flail Mower Let's talk flail mowers

Found the spool of wire I was missing…. I was cutting nicely until I found my missing spool of fence wire. After untangling the mess, here is what I’m left with. Looks like I need parts 5,6,8. Will I be able to get this off with a standard bearing puller? Any tips would be appreciated as...

Flail Mower Let's talk flail mowers

Anyone know how much sharpening blades would run? I was planning on taking an angle grinder to them while still on the mower. The temper could have already been removed by this practice. Is there an easy way to tell other than having experience with hardened steel, which I don’t?

Flail Mower Let's talk flail mowers

I have a 25a that was a project which I never finished and I eventually It’s definitely much heavier than my 25a. I’m going to hunt for a plate this afternoon and measure for gauge wheels

Flail Mower Let's talk flail mowers

No source yet. I can’t find anything that resembles them anywhere. Looks almost like one side of a Y blade. I can reverse these when one side goes dull. The biggest hurdle will be removing them, which is why I’m gonna sharpen first while they are still on the mower.

Yes, it does have a standard roller like most flails. I’m going to try and get some gauge wheels for it. The blades are toast and will require a good sharpening before I use it next. I love not having windrows and I can’t wait to see the quality of cut with sharp blades

Just got me a flail today. Anyone know what model this John Deere flail is? What type of blades are those? Any help is much appreciated.

Flail Mower Finally a flail member, but need help

TSC has plenty of gauge wheels, but none with shafts that would fit this mount.

Flail Mower  Finally a flail member, but need help

I finally got a flail and cut today. The cut is amazing and I’m fortunate to have found a good deal on the mower. I need some help identifying what model this mower is and then any general advice would be appreciated. This mower is heavy and it looks like there is a place for gauge wheels on...

    Tipping/roll favor

My dk40 always seems to favor the left side when picking up a decent weight with the loader/ forks. I've never had the pucker factor on the right side, it's always the left. Is this just me or are there others that have the same opinion on kioti? I need to check all the tires and confirm fluid...
